happy mothers day to all those mothers out there ! i hung out with my mom yesterday, we went to the Euro Store and partook in the 20% off everything for a woman sale! I got a great pair of sandals and mom got new Dansko's! We then had burgers with the guys and mom brought chocolate covered strawberries. But the coolest thing (in my opinion) was the homemade totally healthy strawberry sorbet. remember around christmas i told you that my hubby got me an ice cream maker? well i just used it! i lOVE it! :)

I don't really get all the fuss over mothers day... I guess because I grew up with my dad and never saw my mother for years. Maybe if she had been around I would understand it...
